Moormead FC: Nurturing Future Football Stars

Established by dedicated local parents in 2011, Moormead FC is committed to providing grassroots football opportunities to the St. Margaret’s community in the Richmond-Upon-Thames Borough.

In 2019, Moormead FC proudly introduced The Dinosaur Project, affectionately known as ‘Dinosaur Football.’ This initiative aims to create a structured youth development program for our youngest players, giving them a sense of purpose before they embark on their league football journey. Every Saturday morning at 10 am, our home ground, Moor Mead, transforms into a prehistoric playground where kids engage in fun, fair, and competitive football.

Our program has seen tremendous success in developing young talent. We host multiple tournaments each season, encouraging children to step out of their comfort zones and grow both as players and individuals.

As a non-profit organization, all fees collected from our players are reinvested to enhance their overall experience within the club. We rely entirely on parent coaches, offering FA training to ensure high-quality interactions with our players.

Our coaches and club officials are all parents of local children, and their dedication is the backbone of our club. If you’re interested in coaching or assisting the team or club in any capacity, we would love to hear from you. Last season, the MMFC DINOS boasted 20 coaches across four year groups, all of whom highly recommend getting involved.

Join us and be a part of our roaring success!
